David Sidle - Founder of Buffalo Jump Safety

Hello, I'm David Sidle, the owner of Buffalo Jump Safety L.L.C. My journey in public safety began over 25 years ago as a teen starting in Search and Rescue, CERT, and Ham radio. This early experience set me on a path that led me to an active-duty role as a firefighter in the U.S. Air Force, where I also earned degrees in Emergency Management, Fire Science, and Education Technology.

Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of seeing how first responders across the country work, both similarly and differently. My experiences have ranged from instructing career first responders at the DoD Fire Academy to teaching countless volunteers who are committed to public safety.

After years of encouragement from colleagues and friends, I decided to bring my knowledge and skills together to offer specialized training right here in Montana. At Buffalo Jump Safety, I’m passionate about providing top-tier training and support for both professional and volunteer responders to enhance their skills and safety protocols.
